About the role
The Bus Aide position is responsible for assisting the bus driver in providing a safe and efficient transportation service to students.
Responsibilities
- Assist the bus driver with loading and unloading students and equipment.
- Ensure that all safety procedures are followed during transportation.
- Monitor the condition of the bus and report any issues to the bus driver.
- Help maintain a positive and welcoming environment for students on the bus.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Mississippi driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Good communication skills.
