Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Attend to guest at their table or the counter, informing them of daily specials, taking orders, serving food, clearing tables and preparing their bill.
- Prepare and serve beverages and ensure that the car and coolers are adequately stocked.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace and dining area.
- Keep all condiment containers clean and filled.
- Receive and visually inspect guest check for any inaccuracies, then close the check to the proper method of payment.
- Absorb and respond to guests' needs promptly and courteously in a professional and friendly manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Serve food quickly and accurately with excellent customer service.

- Assist in food preparation as required.
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products, as assigned to adhere to health standards.

- Abide by all state, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Perform all side work to include replenishing condiments and restocking kitchen shelves with supplies.

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One to three months’ related experience and/or training.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Comprehend and communicate either verbal in English and non-verbal methods.
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English and respond in writing.
- Respond effectively to questions from groups of managers and associates.
- Write routine reports and correspondence.
- Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

- Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Physical Demands

- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, Toxic or caustic chemical, and extreme heat or cold.
