Bulldozer Operator I

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to complete tasks such as grading, leveling, clearing debris, digging trenches, and pushing materials.
• Shape terrain, move large volumes of earth, rocks, and rubble according to blueprints and construction plans.
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections.
• Perform basic routine operator maintenance, lubrication, and fueling of equipment.
• Coincide machine actions with crew members using hand or audio signals.
• Operate machinery to perform tasks efficiently and safely.

Qualifications

• At a minimum, 2+ years of relevant, proven, experience operating construction equipment.
• National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Certification is preferred.
