About the role
Responsible for a variety of shipping tasks including small package shipping, picking orders, shipping orders, forklift operation, filling work orders, handling bulk lubricants. Utilizes teamwork to accomplish daily tasks. Offloads bulk from transports and rail cars. Maintains a clean and safe working environment. Blends and repackages products according to demand. Multi-tasks to maintain efficiency. Ensures quality control via sampling, testing, and adherence to operational procedures. Uses computer and electronic scanners to perform daily tasks such as completing work orders and relocating inventory items. Operates forklifts safely and performs daily pre-trips. Maintains an accurate inventory through daily diligence and regular inventory counting. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience and/or Training: One or more years in warehouse setting recommended. Good attention to detail. Safety and quality mindset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to repetitively lift 10 lbs. (frequently lift up to 60 lbs.). Basic mathematical abilities and computer literacy. Licenses/Certificates: Forklift certification recommended not required. Technology/Equipment: Knowledge of WMS or ERP system preferred, not required.
Qualifications
Physical and Mental Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently asked to speak, hear, stand, sit, and/or use both hands to handle, or touch objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to walk, bend, distinguish colors or use repetitive movement for certain tasks. The employee must be able to lift and carry 25 to 60 lbs. occasionally and lift more than 60 lbs. intermittently. PPE will be used while filling forklift and pallet rider batteries. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
