Bulk Truck Operator / Class A CDL

What You’ll Do

• Operate Dyno Nobel trucks and specialty equipment to deliver commercial explosives products to customers in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
• Auxiliary duties include:
• Assist in the operation and maintenance of our local SME (Site Mixed Emulsion) plant facility;
• Preparation and quality control management of chemical solutions;
• Loading and unloading of SME trucks;
• Drive/operate a range of delivery vehicles over public roads;
• Move or deliver explosive products to company or customer sites;
• Drive and operate bulk/SME truck to prepare and deliver quality explosive products;
• Operation of rigid-frame, engine-powered machines (skid steer) and associated equipment (trailer);
• Possess basic mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs or maintenance while in the field;
• Maintain safe working conditions and assure that all crew members and others on the site follow all safety and regulatory procedures and practices to ensure a safe and successful event.

What We’re Looking For

• CDL Class A with Air Brakes, tanker, and hazmat endorsements required;
• 6+ months of mechanical, commercial driving, explosives or related work experience;
• Willingness to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives;
• At least 21 years of age;
• Able to move items weighing up to 60lbs repetitively over the course of a working day;
• Able to work Monday - Friday early morning start times (anywhere from 8 to 14 hours daily).
