Bulk Receiver

Key Essential Functions/Duties

• Safely unload bulk materials.
• Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
• Inspect incoming materials for quality, temperature, and contamination risks.
• Accurately record receiving data in inventory management systems.
• Tag and label received materials according to company protocols.
• Communicate discrepancies or damaged goods to the appropriate departments.
• Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, and food safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of receiving areas and equipment.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Cook off forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.

• Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and procurement teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and warehouse operations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver’s license and forklift certification preferred. Previous experience in a similar role is helpful but not required.

Skills

Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, basic computer literacy, knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety guidelines.
