Bulk Order Puller

Responsibilities

• Reads and follows priorities for daily picking schedule
• Picks bulk product orders from SAP reports using RF scanner
• Efficiently fills store orders, properly palletizes for stability, and delivers pallets to the staging area in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensures the completeness and accuracy of all orders filled
• Inspects material handling equipment at start of shift; completes daily inspection report
• Performs daily, weekly and monthly housekeeping duties; completes quality forms assigned to area
• Maintains cleanliness and removes debris from work areas; keeps forklift paths clear of obstructions
• May be assigned to other warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year prior order pulling / warehouse experience preferred
• Electric riding pallet jack experience preferred
• Good attention to detail; accuracy and thoroughness is a must
• Ability to work with others in a fast-paced team environment
• Flexibility with working hours to accommodate warehouse needs
• Able to work in seasonally warm or cool environment
• Able to assist in other departments as needed
• Basic Computer Experience - Data Entry required

Physical And Environmental Demands

• Frequent lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional lifting or carrying 51-100 lbs.
• Occasional pushing or pulling up to 100 lbs.
• Frequent lifting overhead for building pallets
• Frequent bending at the waist and knees, twisting, pushing and pulling
• Frequent use of both arms and both hands with full range of motion
• Frequent use of the computer for data entry and use of mouse
• Frequent walking and standing for the duration of the work shift
• Frequent gripping, squatting, kneeling, bending, twisting, turning, reaching outward, and reaching above chest
• Occasional sitting, using fine motor manipulations, climbing, and crawling as needed
• Frequent exposure to noise throughout the duration of the shift
• Occasional exposure to cold, heat, sharp tools and equipment, contact stress, and in a congested worksite
