Bulk Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinating barge surveys with field cargo surveyors and releasing barges back to customer and barge lines
• Assisting management with customer issues
• Collaborating with internal and external departments
• Creating vessel discharge / load plans
• Maintaining accurate data collection, entry, and reporting any problems to appropriate parties
• Possible customer, vendor and facility visits
• Providing emergency coverage during our busy season.
• (Or if a coworker has an emergency causing them to be absent from work)
• Working an “on call” rotation where you would work 1 weekend (possibility of 2 weekends per month)
• Plus working an after hours “on call” role 1 week a month (possibility of 2 weeks per month)
• Interfacing with customers, vendors, surveyors, etc.
• Updating and maintaining reports

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Able to work flexible work hours to accommodate business needs
• Highly organized and detailed oriented with the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
