Bulk Loading Operator - Weekend Days

Primary Responsibilities

• Load and unload bulk products, manufacture liquid products, and package finished products in non-bulk containers.
• Inspect containers inside and out before filling.
• Clean reactors prior to manufacturing products according to GMP SOP's.
• Use prescribed safety equipment and wear it while filling and mixing.
• Ensure products meet quality standards before leaving the production area.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of production areas.
• Inspect tank trucks before loading and unloading.
• Review and follow tank truck loading, unloading, and railcar unloading SOP's.
• Review production schedules and batch records to ensure correct raw materials and order of addition.
• Perform tote cleaning and record keeping.
• Complete weekly area inspections and logs.
• Review and train on catalyst training requirements.
• Attend required training sessions.
• Participate in emergency response team, RCRA, regulatory, health & safety, and process training activities.
• Complete Maximo service requests for equipment needing repair.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in chemical processing or similar manufacturing industry.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager.
