Bulk Delivery Driver

About the role

We take pride in being one of the largest privately-owned propane companies in the Northeast, serving eight states. As a Bobtail Delivery Driver, you will deliver various types of propane cylinders for both residential and commercial customers while providing outstanding customer service and adhering to industry safety standards.

You will be working outdoors in all weather and driving conditions, with the ability to lift and carry over 55 pounds regularly throughout the day and bend, climb, reach, and rotate as needed. You will also drag a 175ft hose through all terrains.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily safe, punctual, consistent, and reliable bulk and cylinder deliveries.
• Participate in and complete all required industry compliance and company training.
• Provide consistent, courteous, and efficient customer service.
• Perform daily vehicle and trailer inspections.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ years of Class A or B CDL experience.
• Valid CDL license with Hazardous Materials (H) and Tank Vehicle (N) endorsements or (X) combination. The license may not contain any Air Brakes (L) or (Z) Restriction(s).
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Clean and safe driving record in full compliance with all DOT licensing requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Crane experience.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
• Basic troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
• Previous Bobtail delivery of propane, fuel oil, or other hazardous materials.
• Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detailed-oriented self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
