Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk - #20 Las Vegas - Lamb

About the role

Join our El Super Store Operations Team as a Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk - #20 at our location in Las Vegas, Nevada. We are seeking candidates who can provide excellent customer service, love their community, and love food.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Assist customers, clean, fill and rotate the cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli.
• Replenish product as instructed by the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager in a specifically assigned area.
• Assist customers throughout the entire shift.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the department throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate (preferred).

Qualifications

The opportunity is open to those who can demonstrate the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos. Writing simple correspondence is also required. This position requires the ability to assist customers, clean, fill and rotate the cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli, and maintain the cleanliness of the department throughout the shift. Essential functions include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling, as well as visual and auditory requirements.

Pay

The starting rate for this position is $14.50 per hour.

Schedule

This position consists of two different shifts. The morning shift begins by replenishing product, as instructed by the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager, in a specifically assigned area. The Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk is responsible for assisting customers throughout the entire shift.

Food Handler Card

A Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling, and serving food.
