Bulk CDL A Delivery Driver

AWG is a manufacturer and distributor of industrial gases and welding supplies, operating across the United States with over 100 retail locations and 22 fill plants.

About the role

Immediate opportunity for a Bulk Delivery Driver in Winchester, KY. This position requires a Class A CDL with HazMat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and deliver CO₂ and cryogenic liquids in transport tankers and/or cryogenic vessels
• Read, understand, and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Ensure compliance with CGMP, Hazmat, OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory agencies
• Prepare, complete, and verify accuracy of paperwork
• Ensure vehicles are appropriately placarded and/or labeled
• Perform pre-inspection of vehicle and report any problems to manager
• Maintain electronic trip-logs
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle
• Overnight trips may be required
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• CDL Class A license with HazMat, Tanker, and Air Brakes endorsements
• Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug-screen and physical, and company-administered road test
• Delivery experience a plus
• High school diploma/GED
• Clean driving record (3+ years)
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds
• Good customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be comfortable using computers

Schedule

• 1st shift: 7 AM – 4 PM, Monday through Friday
• 2nd shift: 4 PM – Midnight, Monday through Friday
