Building Substitute Teacher
Position Details
Effective Date: 8/27/2026
Hourly Rate: $29.34
Shift: Part Time
This position is for the 26/27 School year.
Requirements:
- A valid teaching credential or a Wisconsin 3-year substitute teacher permit
- Successful completion of the Substitute Training Workshop offered by the District
- All credentials must be current
Position Purpose
You will be placed daily in a unfilled assignment. At times, there will be longer term placements and placement as a support staff member, such as an educational assistant.
The job involves instruction, supervision, and training of individuals or groups of students with a wide variety of needs in a regular and/or special education setting. Job activities include instruction in various education environments such as classrooms, learning centers, vocational programs, the community, and/or other institutional facilities.
The substitute carries out the absent teacher's prepared lesson plans.
