Building Services Aide - PRN
Employment Type: Part time (PRN) • Shift: Evening – 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm (with every other weekend commitment) • Location: St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA
About the role
The Building Services Aide performs housekeeping duties for the hospital’s Environmental Services Department, maintaining assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition for patients, colleagues, and the public. This role promotes sanitary conditions to prevent the spread of infection and odors and may involve tasks with exposure to visible or reasonably anticipated blood contamination.
Responsibilities
- Perform all general cleaning tasks within assigned hospital areas.
- Complete floor care and project assignments as directed by supervisor.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and storage areas in clean, orderly, and good operating condition.
- Respect Hospital and Company property.
- Extend duties to the Medical Office Building, other buildings, and adjacent grounds as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience; 2-4 years preferred.
