Location: Hartford, TN – Department of Tourist Development, Cocke County (on-site at the Hartford Welcome Center).
Pay
$2,896.00 monthly ($34,752.00 annually).
Schedule
Full-time.
Qualifications
- Experience equivalent to one year of full-time labor and trade work, including some routine building maintenance.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Identify maintenance issues to repair or escalate.
- Perform repair work using diagrams, drawings, or maintenance manuals.
- Operate and utilize tools and equipment such as hand and power tools, plungers, sewer rodders, drills, skill saws, and grinders.
- Dismantle devices (electrical fixtures, plumbing fixtures, outlets) to access, remove, and replace defective parts.
- Perform minor HVAC repairs, basic carpentry, routine plumbing and electrical tasks, repairs, and painting/decorating.
- Handle landscaping and janitorial tasks.
- Review preventative maintenance plans to ensure equipment runs smoothly and building systems operate efficiently.
- Complete work order request forms, log repair work, and document time expended and materials used.
- Communicate with outside vendors and customers to provide basic customer service and direct inquiries appropriately.
- May operate state-issued vehicles, including pickup trucks, golf carts, or watercraft.
