Building Maintenance

I-State Truck Center has opened a new 50,000 square-foot facility featuring state-of-the-art amenities, 24 full-service bays, and a covered service check-in area.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and drop off customer vehicles (CDL required)
• Check-in and inspection of trucks and equipment arriving; movement of trucks on property and periodic test driving as needed
• Evaluate condition of the facility interior and exterior and perform minor repairs and maintenance
• Communicate with Service and/or Branch Manager about any work that requires outside expert assistance
• Keep building in clean and orderly condition by performing minor cleaning duties not handled by the cleaning service
• Gather and empty trash
• Keep restrooms and break room clean and supplied
• Receive and respond to reports of maintenance issues on premises
• Perform snow and ice removal on sidewalks and areas of lots as needed (primary plowing and salting handled by an outside service)
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to size, type, style, color, or product code
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to workers
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or transport orders to packing station or shipping department

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL required)
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs consistently
• Good knowledge of the area and ability to read maps and follow specific directions

Qualifications

• Working experience in a customer service, customer-focused position
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working experience as a delivery driver
• Experience using Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. (preferred)

Pay

Up to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience
