Building Maintenance Assistant

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks in a healthcare setting
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least two (2) years of experience in a maintenance department in a healthcare facility
• Knowledgeable in maintenance practices and procedures in nursing care facilities
• Pass a post-offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical/drug screen

Qualifications

Must be able to perform physical labor and stand for extended periods.

Skills

• Strong mechanical skills
• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
