About the Role

As a Building Inspector with ICC B2 Certification, you will inspect construction work, interpret plans and specifications, and communicate project status and issues to clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of construction tasks
• Interpret specifications
• Review and interpret plans including elevations, reinforcement placement, overall dimensions, welding symbols, bolting requirements, and general construction details
• Clearly communicate with clients on project status, observed issues, and contractor progress during weekly meetings
• Write reports utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel
• Generate schedules on Microsoft Project (a plus)

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of building inspector experience
• High School Diploma (some college preferred)
• ICC B2 Certification
• Additional certifications: ICC Soils, ICC Reinforced Concrete, ICC Bolting, Certified Welding Inspector, ACI Field Technician 1

Pay

$50 - $75 hourly rate. The expected salary range is displayed in accordance with state law, with final compensation based on individual qualifications and experience.
