Building Inspector HHS

Description

The Hennepin County Health and Human Services Department is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who has interest, skills, and experience working in the mental health field to join our team at the new 1801 Nicollet Avenue site in Minneapolis.

This is a non-benefit, intermittent position where the hours are not regular and are limited to 1,039 hours in each 12 month period.

The mission of the Hennepin County Human Services and Public Health Department is to strengthen individuals, families and communities by increasing safety and stability, promoting self-reliance and livable income and improving the health of our communities.

• The duties and responsibilities of this position include:
• Providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Assisting with medication administration and monitoring patients' responses to medications.
• Assisting with patient education and discharge planning.
• Assisting with maintaining patient records and documentation.
