Daily Responsibilities
- Maintain excellent relationships with BOP client representatives, contractors and other project stakeholders.
- Provide daily site inspections to verify compliance with approved plans, specifications, and codes.
- Cook up coordination and inspection of the construction work of the contractor on behalf of BOP.
- Prepare daily reports.
- Review and report on contractor schedule progress.
- Cook up coordination with clients/owners, consultants, contractors, designers, and regulatory agencies.
- Coordinate 3rd-party special material testing inspections.
- Review and provide input on design documents and potential change order issues.
- Maintain project records.
- Manage project photographic records.
- Verify of field surveys.
- Report on project issues and provide status updates.
- Perform other duties as may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Shall have a High school diploma and a minimum of 5 years of construction inspection experience inspecting various types of construction scope of work, including concrete.
- The inspector should have specialized training and experience providing similar services on projects of comparable complexity.
- Shall have knowledge of OSHA safety regulations with 30HR OSHA Safety card (prior to start).
- Shall be proficient with Microsoft Office software and the ability to create and edit Microsoft word and excel files.
- Shall be proficient with Adobe Acrobat and be able to create and edit .pdf documents.
- Good written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Ability to bring assignments to completion independently.
- Ability to work well with others, and a willingness to learn in a team environment.
- Proven record of accomplishments as an inspector on a variety of construction projects.
- Shall be a US Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Construction Management software such as Kahua or Procore.
- Experience as an inspector on government projects.
