Responsibilities

• Cover evaluations of building envelopes, interiors, architectural systems, including historic materials and assemblies.
• Prepare clear, detailed reports, drawings, and visual documentation for project teams and clients.
• Participate in site inspections, field testing, and condition assessments.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to develop practical, code compliant solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; Master’s degree preferred.
• Familiarity with building envelopes and architectural system design principles.
• Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and eagerness to learn.
• Detail-oriented approach and ability to apply architectural concepts carefully, with sensitivity to historic contexts.

Qualifications

• Experience in building envelope and architectural system design.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards.

Skills

• Proficiency in architectural software.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay

The rate for this position generally is $77,000 - $90,000 annually. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law.
