Building Engineer II - Marquee Park Place
About the role
Action Property Management is seeking a skilled and dependable Building Engineer II to support the daily operations of our Marquee Park Place property in Irvine.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining, correcting deficiencies, and/or making repairs to all common areas within the Association
- Oversee all facets of the daily operations of the building, ensuring compliance with HOA policies and regulations as required by code and regulatory enforcement agencies
- Maintain optimum performance of all building systems to include mechanical, electrical/electronic, fire life safety, smoke control, security, HVAC, and water circulation system
- Cookordinate and interact with external contractors and vendors to ensure timely maintenance and repairs, as well as adherence to quality standards
- Plan and implement a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and prolong the lifespan of building systems
- Collaborate with General Manager on modifications and improvements to building systems, including control software, to enhance efficiency and functionality
Qualifications / Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of onsite high rise or mid-rise building engineer experience, preferably in property management, hospitality, or commercial property management
- Familiarity with the Uniform Commercial Building Code; HOA experience is a plus
- HVAC Certification
- EPA/608 License
- Fire Pump Certificate preferred
- Fire Life Safety Director Certificate preferred
- Valid California Driver's License and Auto Insurance
- Hands-on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting experience
- Experience in fire system management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team player attitude
- Availability by cell phone 24/7 for emergencies
Pay
$45.00 - $47.00 per hour depending upon experience
