About the Role
A Building Engineer responsible for maintaining and repairing regulated facilities, primarily in an FDA-regulated environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, regulatory knowledge, and proactive maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee building systems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Read MEP diagrams and assess building envelope
- Manage vendor relationships
- Support safety policies
- Basic knowledge of emergency power generators and building codes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or trade certification
- At least 7 years of related experience
- Familiarity with electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Universal Refrigerant license
- OSHA 10 certification
- HVAC certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate independently
- Travel is involved
