Your Typical Responsibilities

• Ensures the building maintenance program is well maintained and ensures all company housekeeping standards are met
• Ensures all life safety code requirements for assisted living and memory care communities are met and maintains documentation to support
• Manages electronic work order system & completes or delegates repairs as needed
• Collaborates with community leadership, regional teams, and corporate support to align with organizational goals
• Leads staffing efforts, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, coaching, employee training, and task delegation
• Coordinates with outside vendors as needed for maintenance & supplies
• Conducts apartment inspections and coordinates make-ready process
• Responds to after-hours maintenance related emergency calls
• Manages Building Engineer Assistant and Housekeepers

Minimum Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read building blueprints
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience strongly preferred in Assisted Living, Senior Living, Hotels, or Multi-Family Housing
• Demonstrated successful use of technology in the workplace including MS Office and electronic work order systems like TELS
• Ability to work flexible schedules in 24 hour operation including weekends as needed
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
