The user wants me to reformat a job posting into clean, well-structured semantic HTML. I need to follow the rules carefully: 1. Use

for section headings (About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule) 2. Use
  • for lists,

for prose 3. Do NOT repeat job title as heading 4. Do NOT put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings 5. Preserve ALL substantive information 4. Remove boilerplate (cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions) 5. Include a section ONLY when there's real, specific content - no filler/placeholder text 6. Never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless posting actually states them 7. Output ONLY HTML fragment - no /, no markdown code fences Let me analyze the content: The posting has: - Overview section (describes PNNL, OSD, F&IO Division) - Responsibilities section (list of duties) - Qualifications section (Minimum and Preferred) - About PNNL section (general info) - Commitment to Excellence and Equal Employment Opportunity (boilerplate - remove) - Drug Free Workplace (boilerplate - remove) - Security, Credentialing, And Eligibility Requirements (boilerplate - remove) - Mandatory Requirements (boilerplate - remove) - For Foreign National Candidates (boilerplate - remove) - Rockstar Rewards (benefits - this is substantive) - Notice to Applicants (pay info - this is substantive) I need to structure this into appropriate sections. The headings should be from the allowed list: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Looking at the content: - "Overview" could be "About the role" - "Responsibilities" maps directly - "Qualifications" maps directly (has Minimum and Preferred) - "About PNNL" could be part of "About the role" or separate? The rules say use specific headings. "About the role" is allowed. "About PNNL" is more about the company. I'll include it under "About the role" or as a separate section? The allowed headings don't include "About the company". I'll fold it into "About the role" or maybe create a section? The rules say "use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)". So I should stick to those. "About the role" can encompass the overview and about PNNL. - "Rockstar Rewards" is Benefits - "Notice to Applicants" contains Pay information (salary range) So sections: 1. About the role (overview + about PNNL) 2. Responsibilities 3. Qualifications (minimum and preferred) 4. Benefits (Rockstar Rewards) 5. Pay (salary range) No Schedule mentioned. Now, I need to preserve all substantive information. For lists, use
    • . For prose, use

. Let me draft the HTML. First, About the role: combine the overview paragraphs and about PNNL. The overview has multiple paragraphs. I'll put them as

tags. Responsibilities: list of bullet points. Use

      • . Qualifications: has Minimum Qualifications (two bullet points) and Preferred Qualifications (two bullet points). I'll make sub-sections? But heading must be

        only. I can use

        Qualifications

        then within, maybe use

        ? The rules don't forbid

        , but they say use

for section headings. I think it's okay to use

for sub-sections, but to be safe, I'll keep it as lists with labels. I'll do:

        Qualifications

        Minimum Qualifications:

        • ...
        • ...

        Preferred Qualifications:

        • ...
        • ...
Benefits: Rockstar Rewards list. It's a long list of benefits. Use
        • . Pay: salary range. Use

with the range. Also note: "Testing Designated Position Not Applicable." - this is minor metadata, fold into a short

or drop. I'll include as a

in Qualifications maybe. Now, remove all boilerplate: EEO, drug free, security, mandatory requirements, foreign national, etc. Also remove "Click Here For Rockstar Rewards" - that's a link, but we keep the benefits list. Now, write HTML. Let me structure:

          About the role

At PNNL, our core capabilities are divided among major departments that we refer to as Directorates within the Lab, focused on a specific area of scientific research or other function, with its own leadership team and dedicated budget. Our directorates related to Mission Support & Operations include Office of General Counsel, Business Services, Communications and External Engagement, Operational Systems, Communications and Information Technology, and Performance Management.

The Operational Systems Directorate (OSD) leads delivery of PNNL’s 10-year, $1.2 billion campus construction portfolio— the single largest construction and modernization effort in the Laboratory’s history. OSD oversees operations and facility services, maintenance, and infrastructure planning. A team of nearly 800 staff comprise OSD, spanning in a wide range of disciplines, including craftspeople, engineers, construction professionals, technicians, scientists, administrators, and specialists. Together, they ensure that PNNL’s assets, services, and OSD-led programs are managed and performing safely, securely, reliably, effectively, and efficiently. The directorate stewards more than $250 million in annual budget authority; managing more than 2.5 million square feet of facility space across two campuses; overseeing approximately 200 regulatory program areas; and executing a multi-million-dollar facility and infrastructure project portfolio.

The Facilities & Infrastructure Operations (F&IO) Division is responsible for operating and maintaining PNNL’s buildings, grounds, and utilities. The F&IO team includes plant engineering, fabrication, craft services, duplicating and mail services, facility program support, relocations, and receiving. F&IO is home to approximately 363 staff including more than 250 bargaining unit (union) staff.

Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) is a world-class research institution powered by a highly educated, diverse workforce committed to the values of Integrity, Creativity, Collaboration, Impact, and Courage. Every year, scores of dynamic, driven people come to PNNL to work with renowned researchers on meaningful science, innovations and outcomes for the U.S. Department of Energy and other sponsors; here is your chance to be one of them! PNNL is located in eastern Washington State—the dry side of Washington known for its stellar outdoor recreation and affordable cost of living. The Lab’s campus is only a 45-minute flight (or ~3 hour drive) from Seattle or Portland, and is serviced by the convenient PSC airport, connected to 8 major hubs.

Minimum Salary: USD $138,500.00/Yr. Maximum Salary: USD $207,900.00/Yr.

Starting pay is calculated from the minimum of the pay range and actual placement in the range is determined based on an individual’s relevant job-related skills, qualifications, and experience. This approach is applicable to all positions, with the exception of positions governed by collective bargaining agreements and certain limited-term positions which have specific pay rules. As part of our commitment to fair compensation practices, we do not ask for or consider current or past salaries in making compensation offers at hire. Instead, our compensation offers are determined by the specific requirements of the position, prevailing market trends, applicable collective bargaining agreements, pay equity for the position type, and individual qualifications and skills relevant to the performance of the position.

That seems comprehensive. I need to ensure no markdown code fences, just HTML fragment. Check for any missing substantive info: The "Notice to Applicants" includes the pay range and the policy about not asking for past salaries. I included that. The "Rockstar Rewards" list I broke into individual
