Building Enclosure Testing Leader

Responsibilities

  • Oversight and coordination of building enclosure testing
  • Assistance with logistics and project deliverables
  • Mentoring and guiding a team of technicians
  • Ensuring compliance with testing standards and best practices
  • Coordination of testing services with project managers
  • Project coordination including planning, scheduling, execution, and reporting
  • Interacting with client representatives and contractors

Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years experience performing and observing building enclosure testing
  • As minimum, a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management, Building Science, or related field
  • Technical experience with various building enclosure elements
  • Familiarity with testing standards
  • Excellent technical, written, graphical, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work overtime, including weekends on an as-needed basis
  • Ability to travel daily, share a company vehicle provided, some overnight travel may be required
  • A valid driver’s license (good driving record)
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds, stand for long periods of time, work from heights, work in tight spaces and inclement weather
  • Experience working with elevated platforms, such as ladders, pipe-scaffolding, boom-lifts, and suspended scaffolding
  • Willingness to operate aerial lifts such as boom-lifts and suspended scaffolding, training will be provided
  • Computer skills: ability to effectively use Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn new concepts and adapt to challenges
  • Ability to work in an efficient and organized manner independently and with a team
  • Medically fit to use personal protective equipment

Preferred Skills And Experience

  • Previous consulting firm experience
  • Experience reading and understanding drawings, specifications, and testing standards
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (hours may vary, overtime may be required)

Daily travel (shared company vehicle provided, some overnight travel may be required)
