Responsibilities
- Oversight and coordination of building enclosure testing
- Assistance with logistics and project deliverables
- Mentoring and guiding a team of technicians
- Ensuring compliance with testing standards and best practices
- Coordination of testing services with project managers
- Project coordination including planning, scheduling, execution, and reporting
- Interacting with client representatives and contractors
Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years experience performing and observing building enclosure testing
- As minimum, a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management, Building Science, or related field
- Technical experience with various building enclosure elements
- Familiarity with testing standards
- Excellent technical, written, graphical, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work overtime, including weekends on an as-needed basis
- Ability to travel daily, share a company vehicle provided, some overnight travel may be required
- A valid driver’s license (good driving record)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds, stand for long periods of time, work from heights, work in tight spaces and inclement weather
- Experience working with elevated platforms, such as ladders, pipe-scaffolding, boom-lifts, and suspended scaffolding
- Willingness to operate aerial lifts such as boom-lifts and suspended scaffolding, training will be provided
- Computer skills: ability to effectively use Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to learn new concepts and adapt to challenges
- Ability to work in an efficient and organized manner independently and with a team
- Medically fit to use personal protective equipment
Preferred Skills And Experience
- Previous consulting firm experience
- Experience reading and understanding drawings, specifications, and testing standards
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (hours may vary, overtime may be required)
Daily travel (shared company vehicle provided, some overnight travel may be required)
