About the role
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer II to support the design and delivery of electrical systems across multiple office locations, including Columbus, Akron, Baltimore, Jacksonville, and Pensacola. In this role, you will contribute to electrical system design from concept through construction, working alongside senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams. Projects span healthcare, education, federal, commercial, industrial, residential, and mission-critical facilities.
Responsibilities
- Support design of electrical systems across diverse building and infrastructure projects
- Develop layouts, drawings, and construction documentation through all design phases
- Perform engineering calculations and technical analyses to support system design decisions
- Coordinate with internal disciplines and external partners to maintain design intent through construction
- Assist in preparing technical reports, drawings, and project documentation
- Contribute to problem-solving and development of efficient design solutions
- Provide support and guidance to junior staff as needed
Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited program)
- 3+ years of electrical design experience
- PE license preferred, EIT required
- Experience with power distribution, lighting/controls, grounding, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
- Familiarity with codes and standards governing electrical design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360, ACC
- Experience with power system analysis tools (SKM, EasyPower, or similar)
- Lighting design software experience (e.g., Visual) preferred
Pay
$90,000 - $120,000 per year
