Building Construction Technology Adjunct Instructor "Pool"

Responsibilities

• Teaching a diverse student body in accordance with established syllabi at various locations
• Utilizing instructional technology
• Applying a variety of effective teaching methods
• Planning, managing, and delivering course instruction
• Following all EPA and OSHA regulations that pertain to the program
• Participating in college functions as needed
• Applying teaching practices that support the continuous improvement of both the program and the college
• Serving as professional team members who support the mission and vision of the college while performing duties with the highest level of quality and service

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in the teaching discipline is required, or an associate’s degree with demonstrated competencies in building construction

Qualifications

• A South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (LLR) Residential Builder’s License or General Contractor’s License is preferred
