Building Automation Leader

Job Summary
Drive the growth and performance of the Building Automation Systems (BAS) division by combining hands-on sales, operational leadership, and team development. This role is responsible for achieving revenue targets, leading project execution, and building a strong team culture focused on results and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in building automation systems, controls, or related field
- Strong understanding of BAS, DDC systems, and system integration
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and delivering project outcomes
- Ability to read and interpret control diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities
- Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Construction, or Business is preferred
- Experience with BAS programming (e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or similar) is a plus
- Familiarity with modern automation technologies and platforms is preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Own and achieve BAS revenue, margin, and backlog targets
- Lead and close complex, high-value automation opportunities
- Develop strategic account plans and pursue new market opportunities
- Oversee project execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Lead, coach, and develop BAS engineers, programmers, and technicians
- Maintain accurate forecasts, pipelines, and CRM data
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and company processes
- Provide technical leadership and support for complex systems
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams for smooth project delivery
- Build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships
