Builder - Night Shift
About the role
Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions. As part of this team, you will provide essential assistance to journeymen in assembling buildings and installing various components.
Responsibilities
- Assist in assembling buildings and installing components such as HVAC units, windows, and doors.
- Cut materials using a variety of construction tools and equipment.
- Ensure flawless handling and installation of insulation.
- Assist with the layout of cutouts and the installation of panels, following industry standards.
- Demonstrate expertise with multiple construction power tools and hand tools.
- Conduct housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with your team while also taking initiative to work independently.
- Implement solutions to adapt to frequent changes, delays, or unexpected challenges in projects.
- Be available for 2nd Shift and overtime work as determined by project requirements.
Requirements
- Consistent track record in providing support in construction or a similar field.
- Prior experience in handling and installing construction components.
- Skills in using diverse construction tools and equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to meet the physical and environmental demands of a construction site, including lifting heavy materials, working at heights, and enduring varying weather conditions.
