Buffet Cashier , Southland Casino

About the role

Delaware North Gaming is seeking full-time and part-time Restaurant Cashiers to join their team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with dining room, service, and kitchen team members to keep track of all orders, monetary situations, and charges.
• Validate methods of payment, complete transactions, provide accurate change, documentation, and receipts.
• Dispense the accurate amount of change if needed.
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts.
• Scan items and ensure pricing is correct, resolving discrepancies and processing payments.
• Clean up checkout area and keep organized; stock receipt paper and other stationery.
• Maintain accurate tabs on restaurant tables' orders using the venue's primary point of sale system.

Requirements

• No high school diploma or GED required.
• Previous cash handling experience.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Basic math skills; ability to accurately count change and balance bank.

Qualifications

• Split shift available, including evenings and weekends.
• 8-hour shift available.
• Evenings as needed.
• Weekends as needed.
