About the role

As a Budtender, you play an integral role in providing exceptional customer service, offering in-depth product knowledge, and ensuring a positive and educational shopping experience for our valued customers. Your enthusiasm for cannabis products, dedication to compliance, and commitment to creating a welcoming environment contribute to our mission of promoting responsible and informed consumption.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service and Product Expertise (50%): extend a warm and professional welcome to customers, listen to their preferences, offer personalized product recommendations, and educate them on advantages, effects, and safe consumption methods.
• Store Operations and Compliance (30%): keep the store neat and visually enticing, maintain organized product displays, stay updated on industry trends and regulations, manage cash transactions and the point‑of‑sale system, and ensure full compliance with company policies and state/local regulations.
• Communication and Team Collaboration (20%): collaborate with team members to foster a positive, customer‑centric atmosphere, support management with store activities (customer assistance, checkouts, cash handling), and perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role preferred
• Knowledge of cannabis and its products is a plus
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more multiple times per day
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) badge in Colorado
