Budtender (Full Time) - High Plainz Strains of Fort Lupton

About the role

We are hiring a Full Time Budtender for our High Plainz Strains of Fort Lupton location. Ideal candidates will have open availability for the hours this store is open - Sunday - Saturday 8 am to 10 pm.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers by answering questions and offering knowledgeable product recommendations.
• Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to every guest.
• Stock and organize products on the sales floor.
• Accurately and responsibly handle cash transactions.
• Adhere to all company policies as well as regulations set forth by the Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED).

Requirements

• A valid State of Colorado cannabis industry badge is required to work in any dispensary.
• Prior customer service experience, preferably in retail or hospitality (server, bartender, host, etc.).
• A friendly, positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
• A genuine interest in the cannabis industry and its products—even if you don’t personally partake.
• A general knowledge of cannabis products is a plus.
• A willingness to learn and strictly follow industry rules and regulations on a daily basis.

The cost of obtaining this badge is the responsibility of the candidate/employee and is not reimbursed by the company. Reliability is essential, as this is a customer-facing role.

Skills

• Knowledge of the cannabis product world is a plus, but not required. We have lots of expertise and knowledge in-house, and we will help you learn whatever you don't already know about the wide variety of cannabis products.

Pay

Starting pay is $15.16 per hour, with an extra $4.00–$6.00 per hour earned in tips.

Schedule

This person will be generally be scheduled 30-35 hours per week, 4-5 shifts per week.
