Budgeting and Automation FP&A Analyst

About the role

The FP&A team is growing, and this role has direct visibility into the business from day one. This is a real opportunity to shape how the finance function operates at a publicly traded company during a meaningful growth and transformation phase.

Responsibilities

• Expense forecasting and budget tracking across all functions (Ops, Service, G&A, R&D, Sales & Marketing)
• Support the new AP system implementation
• Day-to-day tasks including variance analysis, month-end close deliverables, and cross-functional partnering with Accounting, AP, and Treasury to validate actuals and pressure-test assumptions
• Build pipelines from ERP and data warehouse sources directly into finance models, cutting out manual steps, and owning the workflow architecture

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with financial modeling and budgeting
• Proficiency in Excel and other financial software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience in finance, preferably in a corporate environment
• Experience with ERP systems and data warehousing

Skills

• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with financial modeling tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
• Knowledge of cloud-based financial systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Benefits

• Compensation: $75,000 to $100,000 base. The final range will be determined based on the candidate's experience and skill set.
