Responsibilities
- Present NMCRS B4B workshops in a variety of settings (groups, one-on-one, or virtually)
- Answer clients' questions and provide appropriate resources
- Cook up workshop schedule with other instructors and staff liaison
- Must be available to lead two in-person workshops or outreach events per month (one weekday and one Saturday; approx. 3 hours per workshop, including travel to/from Naval Base San Diego)
Qualifications
- Commit to the team for a minimum of 6 months
- Complete NMCRS Orientation and Training
- Basic computer skills
- Be able to work collaboratively with staff, clients and fellow volunteers
- Comfortable speaking in front of large groups
- Experience teaching, knowledge of military pay system, and familiarity with Tricare (especially navigating pregnancy/childbirth/adoption) a plus, but not required

Preferences
- Preference given for military spouses or those who already have military base access
