The United States Space Force (USSF) has a critical opening for a Financial Management Analyst at our Space Systems Command in sunny Los Angeles, CA. You’ll be at the center of our Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) mission, directly supporting the iconic Global Positioning System (GPS) that our nation and the world rely on every day.

• Your primary focus will be steering programs through the entire DoD financial lifecycle, applying your expertise in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
• You will be responsible for formulating budgets, executing dollars, and justifying financial plans for multi-million dollar programs.
• You will serve as key advisor, using your quantitative skills and financial acumen to provide critical guidance to program managers and senior leaders, ensuring resources are allocated strategically to achieve mission success.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• PCS / Incentive funding is not authorized.
• Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
• May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of temporary duty assignments.
• May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
• Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed “Unscheduled Telework”.
• Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): Approximately 15 days per year.
• This position will close after 5 business days or 75 applications, whichever comes first.
• This is a Financial Management Level (1, 2, or 3) Certified position IAW the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d.
• This position is part of the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP).
• Satellite work agreements will be considered to work out of a military base or federal office near you.
• The employee must meet the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) requirements applicable to the duties of the position.
