Buckskin Hills Operator

About the role

Working under the supervision of the Buckskin Hills Manager, the Buckskin Hills Operator helps develop, maintain, promote, and present the Buckskin Hills Multi-Use Sports Complex.

Responsibilities

• Operating heavy machinery (road grader, backhoe, trackhoe, dozer, water truck)
• Snow removal and grooming equipment operations
• General power tools operation to support site infrastructure, the shooting range, and snow hill operations
• Assisting with event setup
• Facility cleaning
• Daily usage monitoring
• Volunteer and staff coordination
• Safety compliance
• Related administrative tasks

Requirements

• Sufficient education and training to perform all related duties
• At least two (2) years of experience operating and maintaining medium- to heavy-sized equipment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Hold or be able to acquire a valid Utah Class "A" Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Pass an ICC physical
• Maintain a current medical certificate
• Strictly comply with all county policies and safety standards

Schedule

• Non-traditional work schedule with mandatory evening, weekend, and holiday shifts driven by event needs
• Regular weekend coverage (excluding Sundays) every other week all year long

Pay

Competitive salary of $28.49 an hour depending on experience.
