About the role

Brokers and benefits consultants are one of the most powerful distribution channels in the PEO space. Niural is ready to build this engine from the ground up. This is a foundational role where you will design the program, sign early partners, and set the playbook that the team scales from. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure broker-referred clients convert, onboard smoothly, and stay.

Responsibilities

  • Build & Scale the Broker Channel
  • Identify, prospect, and sign benefits brokers, insurance consultants, HR advisors, and other referral partners who serve the SMB and mid-market segments
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for all broker and strategic partners, ensuring they are educated, enabled, and motivated to refer clients to Niural
  • Drive Revenue Through Partners
  • Own the broker-sourced pipeline and revenue targets, building a channel that becomes a meaningful and predictable source of new business
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handoffs, fast follow-up, and strong conversion of broker-referred leads
  • Track partner performance and optimize the program based on conversion rates, referral volume, and revenue contribution
  • Enable & Educate Partners
  • Develop broker-facing materials including pitch decks, product guides, comparison sheets, and competitive battlecards
  • Run regular partner webinars, trainings, and check-ins to keep Niural top of mind and partners up to date on new products and capabilities
  • Represent Niural at industry events, PEO conferences, and broker association meetings
  • Identify and develop non-broker strategic partnerships — including accounting firms, financial advisors, VC/startup ecosystems, and technology platforms — that can drive qualified referrals at scale
  • Structure and negotiate partnership agreements with legal and executive support
  • Collaborate with Marketing on co-marketing campaigns, partner spotlights, and joint events
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Customer Success to ensure broker-referred clients receive a white-glove onboarding experience that reflects well on the referring partner
  • Partner with Product to surface broker and client feedback that informs the roadmap
  • Provide regular reporting to leadership on channel health, partner pipeline, and revenue attribution

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in PEO, HR tech, benefits, or insurance — with meaningful exposure to broker channels and partnership models
  • A proven track record of building and managing broker or channel partner relationships that drive revenue
  • A deep understanding of the PEO sales cycle and how brokers/benefits consultants influence buying decisions
  • A strong network within the broker and benefits consultant community
  • Experience structuring partner agreements, commission models, and co-marketing programs
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, early-stage startup environment with limited resources and high expectations

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with global HR tech, EOR, or payroll products
  • Familiarity with CRM and partner management tools
  • Existing relationships with VC ecosystems, startup communities, or accounting/advisory firms
