Broadcasting & Journalism Teacher, (Part Time, In-Person)

General Responsibilities

• Mets regularly with the Director of Educational Development
• Plans and facilitates instructional sessions
• Develops a curriculum covering video editing, commentary, journalism, and streaming
• Applies learned skills to projects like an internal school news team or esports broadcasting program
• Models appropriate academic and social behavior
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Demonstrates responsibility, desire to help, discretion, and flexibility
• Knowledge of basic academic content and skills
• Ability to apply knowledge and tools to help students access material
• Ability to collect and analyze data for future instruction
• Ability to think critically and solve problems independently

Qualifications

Must possess a bachelor's degree and extensive teaching and/or tutoring experience.
