Broadcasting Coach

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Broadcasting Coach to work with clients looking to break into or grow within the broadcasting and news industry. This role includes teaching core broadcasting techniques, on-air presentation, and script writing, as well as helping clients strengthen their news reporting and video editing skills. Coaches also support clients on the career side, offering resume review and interview prep tailored to broadcasting roles, along with guidance on networking strategy and salary negotiation. Additional support includes skill building for on-camera and behind-the-scenes work, as well as guidance for those pursuing freelancing opportunities in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Teach core broadcasting techniques, on-air presentation, and script writing
• Help clients strengthen their news reporting and video editing skills
• Offer resume review and interview prep tailored to broadcasting roles

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in broadcasting or journalism (as an on-air talent, producer, reporter, or industry professional)
• A strong understanding of what it takes to succeed on-air and behind the scenes
• A clear, structured approach to coaching clients through both technical and career growth

Qualifications

• Experience working with clients in the broadcasting and news industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to tailor coaching to individual client needs
• Knowledge of relevant software and tools for broadcasting and video editing
