Bridgeland Grocery - Night Stocker - Part time

About the role

As a Night Stocker, you'll join a dynamic team in the Grocery or Drug Store department, fostering teamwork, and embracing the nightlife of store operations. You'll gain valuable insights into various products and departments, setting a foundation for potential career growth at H-E-B.

Responsibilities

• Stocks shelves and refills displays
• Lifts, loads, unloads, and moves heavy, bulky products
• Conditions shelves and products
• Learns and applies product knowledge to maintain A+ Standards
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the department
• Complies with SOPs and leader direction
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and company regulations
• Works efficiently and collaboratively with a team
• Takes constructive feedback and applies it to future tasks
• Trains and coaches other Stockers
• Provides excellent customer service
• Aids customers in finding products and answering questions

Qualifications & Key Requirements

• Age Requirement: 18+
• Work Experience: Experience in stocking and customer service preferred; experience in physically demanding jobs a plus
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Understanding of SOPs, communication, organization, time management, customer service, and ability to lift up to 100 lbs

• Fast-paced, demanding Store environment
• Close attention to detail required
• Exposure to cold, loud noise, ambient temperatures, and wet conditions
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs (Grocery), 66 lbs (Drugstore), 86 lbs (Dairy), 60 lbs (Frozen), and 60 lbs (General Merchandise)
• Shifts include overnight, weekends, and holidays
