Bridge Superintendent
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all aspects of bridge construction, repair, and maintenance projects from start to finish.
- Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring the proper deployment of manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Review and interpret bridge design plans and blueprints, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards on all projects.
- Cookordinate with contractors, engineers, inspectors, and project managers to ensure smooth operations and timely project completion.
- Maintain detailed project records, including daily reports, timecards, and progress updates.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure all work meets or exceeds required standards.

- Monitor progress against schedules and budgets, proactively addressing potential issues and delays.
- Lead and supervise field staff, including workers, foremen, and subcontractors, ensuring efficient project workflow.
- Manage and order materials, supplies, and equipment, coordinating timely deliveries to meet project needs.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Work with local authorities and agencies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and other legal requirements.
Qualifications
- 10 years of heavy civil experience in a similar role as a Bridge Superintendent on ground-up bridge construction projects.
- Experience with Bidwells.
- Experience with form and pour bridge decks.
