Bridge Inspection Team Leader

Location: New York, New York (Northeast bridge group)

Responsibilities

• Work as an integral part of the Bridge Practice in our Northeast bridge group.
• Support structural bridge design group on selected projects and lead assigned tasks as appropriate.
• Collaborate with managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and project delivery.
• Assist in maintaining quality of project deliverables produced by the Bridge Group.
• Support plan production by handling CAD layout and markups as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred but not required).
• Minimum of 8 years of bridge inspection experience.
• NY and NJ Professional Engineer (PE) license required with active FHWA NHI Training Certification.
• Experience with various agencies such as DOT, MTA, TBTA, PANYNJ.
• Ability to plan and coordinate work efforts needed to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to form effective relationships with staff and clients.

Pay

Compensation Range: $111,977.00 - $127,247.00 (good‑faith salary estimate; final salary may vary based on geography, education, experience, and certifications).
