Bridge Inspection Team Leader

Typical Duties And Responsibilities

• Lead inspection teams and assist in successful completion of inspection/design projects.
• Supervise routine and NSTM bridge inspection and evaluations.
• Review, analyze, and provide recommendations on field and/or design issues or adaptations.
• Work Monday – Friday 6:30AM – 3:00PM.
• Responsible for engineering projects of varying size and complexity in field or office in accordance with plans and specifications.
• Field work required, which could include nights and weekends.
• Ability to climb and inspect various types of bridges, including wading in streams, and be comfortable working at heights for extended periods of time.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, schedules and timely completion of projects.
• Prepare complete engineering plans or reports.
• Direct and supervises the work of entry-level engineers, technicians, drafters, and administrative staff.
• Coach field staff on the purpose and processes of inspections and inspection techniques.
• Make independent decisions within a general framework.
• Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
• Successfully develop and maintain meaningful relationships with clients.
• Supervise and monitor client relationships strategies.

Pay

The base salary will be estimated between $100,000 - $135,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
