Bridge Estimator
About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Heavy Civil Estimator to join a growing team in Englewood, CO. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bids for large infrastructure projects like highways, bridges, concrete structures, and foundations. This position is ideal for someone with strong experience in public works projects, especially those involving CDOT (Colorado Department of Transportation).
Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates for heavy civil projects (bridges, highways, earthwork, concrete, etc.)
- Review project drawings and specifications to understand the scope of work
- Perform quantity take-offs (calculate materials, labor, and equipment needed)
- Build detailed and competitive bid proposals
- Work with subcontractors and vendors to gather pricing
- Review and understand CDOT requirements and specifications
- Attend pre-bid meetings and job site visits when needed
- Keep organized records of estimates and past project costs
- Help transition awarded projects to the operations team
Requirements
3+ years of experience in Heavy Civil Estimating
Experience bidding on public infrastructure projects (heavy bid experience required)
Strong knowledge of earthwork, concrete, bridge, and highway construction
Ability to perform detailed take-offs and cost analysis
Comfortable using estimating software and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred
Skills
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
