Bridge Engineer

Responsibilities
- Aid senior engineers in developing detailed calculations and construction drawings, including foundation designs, bridge structures, and load rating calculations.
- Use software like MDX, LEAP Bridge Concrete, OpenBridge Designer, LARSA, LPILE, and GROUPLoad to perform structural analysis and design.
- Create detailed engineering drawings using Microstation, including rebar calculations and layout.
- Conduct quantity calculations and collaborate with internal engineering disciplines such as geotechnical, roadway, environmental, and drainage teams.
- Support other engineering activities as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering (or related field)
- 3+ years of related work experience
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate required
- Proficiency in CAD (Microstation Open Roads Designer) and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering

Parsons is seeking a talented Bridge Engineer to support large transformative transportation projects. The ideal candidate should be centrally located to one of our Parsons offices to support regular in-office collaboration.

- Structural calculations for concrete and steel bridge components and retaining walls
- Modeling bridge structures using structural design/analysis programs
- Load Rating Calculations using AASHTOWare
- Creating detailed engineering drawings using Microstation
- Conducting quantity calculations
- Collaborating with internal engineering disciplines
- Supporting other engineering activities

$63,600.00 - $111,300.00
