Bridge Engineer

About the role

Korda/Nemeth Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Bridge Engineer for an immediate opening in their Civil Department. The role involves bridge design and plan preparation, with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan preparation from concept design through bid drawings
• Opportunities for construction administration and inspection

Requirements

• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Good social skills, representing the company at client meetings
• Willingness to learn new skills and work towards continuous improvement
• Solid knowledge of bridge design practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 1 year of bridge design and load rating experience
• Working knowledge of MicroStation, Geopak, and bridge/structural design programs
• AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience is a plus
• Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States and be authorized to work on a full-time basis
