Bridge Engineer/Assistant Project Manager
Join Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Phoenix, AZ office as a Bridge Engineer/Assistant Project Manager, where you’ll lead design and plan development tasks, perform structural analysis and design for highway, railroad, and bike/ped structures, and conduct bridge inspections and load ratings.
Responsibilities
- Lead bridge/structural tasks as part of a project team, including plan and report production
- Assist in the development of project proposals, scope, and schedules
- Help develop, monitor, and maintain engineering budgets
- Serve as a quality assurance team review member and mentor for a team of bridge/structural engineers
- Coordinate with sub-consultants and in-house technical staff to meet project deadlines
Requirements
- B.S. in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis (M.S. a plus)
- EIT required; ability to obtain PE
- ADOT experience is a plus
- 5-10 years of relevant Bridge Design experience
- Strong technical skills relevant to bridge/structural design and analysis
- Knowledge of roadway drafting and design software such as Bentley MicroStation, Bentley Open Roads Designer, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
