Responsibilities

  • Assemble and remove forms used for forming concrete structures during bridge/dam construction, including footings, abutments, walls, pier stems/columns, pier caps, bridge decking, and parapets.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Foreman or management.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
  • Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work varied hours, including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
  • Able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions and dirty/dusty environments.
  • Member of a Local Carpenters Union or willingness to become a union member (required; assistance provided by HR).
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites throughout Northern WI.

Qualifications

  • Prior bridge construction experience and/or general construction experience (preferred).
  • Bridge decking experience.
  • Proficient in building form footings, forming walls, wings, and tying in corners using concrete forming.
