Bridge Carpenter

Responsibilities
- Own and maintain a standard set of tools to perform carpentry tasks.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Fabricate forms, assemble, and disassemble regular and special formwork.
- Knowledge of placing, vibrating, and finishing concrete.
- Manage and utilize generators, light plants, water pumps, compressors, compressed air, and power tools.
- Use of curing compounds, epoxies, and other chemicals.
- Construct Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) walls.
- Proper use of fall protection harness.
- Fabricate temporary support systems and railings.
- Review existing operations; develop and recommend improved methods and procedures for traffic maintenance activities.
- Provide verbal and written status reports and special reports as needed.
- Work as a positive and dependable team member, willing to learn and follow company policies and procedures.
- Work a flexible schedule which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of carpenter experience in a construction environment preferred.
- Valid Driver License.

Pay
Starting at $22/hr., commensurate with experience.
Schedule
